School in Haiti completed !
2012  January

We wanted to share some fantastic news regarding our donation to The Michael Pinball Clemons Foundation last year to build a school. We are happy to report that construction of the school has been completed! Our donation to the MPCF and Free the Children, in support of their school-building projects remains incredibly valuable. The classroom will provide a bright and positive environment for a brand new cohort of students, allowing these children to have a bright future. The school is such an integral part of the community and Free The Childrens Nutrition Program is a great example. In the past, most students simply did not have food to bring from home. Now that the school provides them with a daily warm meal they have more time for studies, and are more motivated and energized to learn. MPCF has made a commitment to build 131 schools for marginalized children in 7 under resourced countries through FTC Adopt a Village development program. In just over two years they have raised funds to build over 90 schools and have made a commitment to FTC to reach their goal within the next 3 years. This incredible effort will provide access to education for 5,240 children overseas.
